The contestant must..

◦ Be no younger than the age of 7 years old as of the 1st of April and no older than 12 years old as of the 1st of December for the Junior category.

◦ Be no younger than 13 years old as of the 1st of April and no older than 17 years old as of the 1st of December for the Teen category.

◦ Be no younger than 18 years old as of the 1st of April and no older than 27 as of the 1st of December for the Mr and Miss category.

◦ Not be married, engaged nor divorced.

Contestants agrees to…

◦ Make themselves available for pre-judging.

◦ Behave in a mature and respectful manner.

◦ Help organizers with the necessary arrangements for the pageant.

◦ In the event they are chosen as a finalist they will make themselves available to attend workshops, publicity appearances , rehearsals and interactions. 

◦ In the event they are chosen as a winner they may enter into an agreement with the organizers. 

◦ If contestant is younger than 18 he/she will need consent form a parent/guardian to enter the pageant.

◦ Contestants must be prepared to work in Alberton.

◦ An entry submitted without a proof of payment will not be considered.

◦ Sponsors, organizers and people involved in the pageant may not enter.

◦ If sponsor(s) withdraw their sponsorships organizers will not be held liable.

◦ Contestants enter the pageant at their own risk. Organizers will not be held liable for any personal loss,damages nor injuries suffered during the duration of the pageant. 

◦ Organizers can change the location of the event at anytime.

◦ The judges decision is final.

◦ Applying does not automatically make you a finalist. Finalists are chosen at the pre-judging.

Finalists Agreement 

◦ Accepts the schedule of events by the organizers and follows it.

◦ Always be on time and dressed accordingly. 

◦ Should winner not agree with the agreement with the organizers. The 1st runner up will take the title along with all the rights and obligations. The discharged winner will have to give all prizes won to the 1st runner up and may not pretend to use the title. 

◦ All transportation is at you own cost and public transport may not be an excuse for not attending an event. 

◦ The community project and punctuality will contribute 40% to your final score. 

◦ Winner must be available throughout his/her reign to attend functions. Failure to do so the 1st runner up will automatically take over the title. 

◦ Winner will not be allowed to engage into any agreement with any other person or company without the organizers consent. 

Disqualification 

◦ False, inadequate or misleading personal information and details.

◦ Constant disrespect towards organizers. 

◦ Breach of any of the terms mentioned above.
